Yoga and meditation events this summer

Yoga mat with two candles and statue A few notices of local yoga and meditation events in mid/west Wales have come to me recently so I’m doing a quick blog post about them. Typically a couple of them  clash!

Midsummer meditation – day retreat for women

Sat 26th – Mon 28th July 2014
Iyengar Yoga workshops with Ros Bell (Senior Iyengar Yoga teacher)
Morning and afternoon sessions @ Ancient Earth Centre for Wellbeing, Lanlas Farm, Cellan, Lampeter
Classes Saturday, Sunday, and Monday mornings (9-11.30 a.m.), and Saturday and Sunday afternoons (5.00-6.30 p.m.). Attend all or as few as you wish.

Sat 9th August 2014
Aber Yoga Fest
Organised and taugh by local teachers, there will be a variety of yoga classes, tai chi and mindfulness. The day runs from 10am to 7pm and is being held at Aberystwyth University Sports Centre. Booking and full programme of events on the university website. Open to all.

 

Fri 5th – Sun 7th Sept 2014
Yoga & Cookery Retreat for Women, Abergaveny (Black Mountains)
With yoga teacher Helen Wilson and vegan cook Jane Easton. The retreat is held in Jane’s cottage and will combine yoga and hands on vegan cooking.

Yoga workshop, Coed y Brenin (Dolgellau)
